Rebecca C Poulos 25th Annual Lorne Proteomics Symposium 2020

Rebecca C Poulos

Dr Poulos is a postdoctoral cancer researcher with expertise analysing big datasets in cancer, including proteomic, genomic and epigenomic data. She is currently an NHMRC Early Career Fellow working in the Cancer Data Science Group within the ACRF International Centre for the Proteome of Human Cancer (ProCan) at the Children’s Medical Research Institute in Sydney, Australia. Dr Poulos' postdoctoral research focus is on the use of large-scale proteomic data for prediction of drug response and patient survival in cancer. She is integrating these datasets with genomic and other ‘omic data to better inform predictions and our understanding of cancer biology. She has a particular interest in the use of big data to understand cancer. Dr Poulos completed her PhD research (2015-18) in the field of cancer genomics at the University of New South Wales (UNSW, Australia) under the supervision of A/Prof Jason Wong.
